Video Strategy

Video that earns trust before the first call is booked.

The problem this solves

The problem this solves

Most video marketing for lawyers fails, and it usually fails before anyone picks up a camera. A firm books a shoot, produces a handsome film about its values, posts it once, and concludes that video does not work. What did not work was producing an asset with no idea what job it was doing.

My Law Video is our answer to that. Four ways to produce — done for you, done with you, full production, or StoryBrand format — so the level of your involvement matches the time you actually have, rather than the time a production company assumed you had.

The strategy comes first regardless. Which question is this piece answering, who is watching it, and where does it sit in the path between a stranger and a signed case. Video that knows its job earns trust faster than anything else on your site. Video that does not is an expensive brand exercise.

What's included

Everything in the program

  • My Law Video

Our video service for law firms, built to let elite firms produce content that drives engagement and credibility without it becoming a second job.

  • Done For You video and reels

We handle the entire creation process, using AI tools strategically where they genuinely help. You show up; everything else is ours.

  • Done With You video and reels

The collaborative option — guidance and support through production for firms who want to shoot their own but not work it out alone.

  • Full Production video and reels

High-quality, professional-grade production tailored to the firm. For the pieces that carry real weight: the firm film, the founder story, the case study.

  • StoryBrand format video and reels

Built to a narrative structure that makes the client the hero and your firm the guide. It is the difference between a video people watch and one they finish.

  • Short-form and reels

Cut for the feed, where most legal video is now discovered. Vertical, captioned, and made to survive the first second.

  • Compliance-aware production

Legal advertising has rules that other industries do not, and video breaks them more easily than text. Scripts are written with that in mind.

How it works

What the first ninety days look like

  1. 01

    Strategy before cameras

Which questions your clients ask, which of them video answers better than a page, and where each piece will actually be used.

  2. 02

    Script and structure

StoryBrand structure applied and scripts written, so you are not improvising to a lens and hoping it cuts together.

  3. 03

    Produce

Done for you, done with you, or full production — whichever matches how much of your time this can realistically have.

  4. 04

    Distribute and measure

Cut for each destination — site, social, ads, YouTube — then measured on watch-through and enquiries, not view counts.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers

Why does video work for law firms specifically?

Because hiring a lawyer is a trust decision made by someone who cannot evaluate legal skill. Thirty seconds of you speaking does more for that decision than a page of credentials, and it does it before they have to call and find out.

I am not comfortable on camera. Is this still worth it?

Yes, and it is the most common objection we hear. The Done With You and Full Production options exist largely for this — scripted, directed, and edited so that being uncomfortable on camera is a production problem rather than yours.

Do we need long videos or short ones?

Both, for different jobs. Short-form reels are how people find you now and are largely a discovery channel. Longer pieces — the firm story, a case study, a real answer to a real question — are what convert someone who is already considering you.

How do you keep video compliant?

Scripts are written knowing that legal advertising rules are stricter than most, and that video makes it easy to imply a guarantee you did not mean to make. The compliance risk in video is usually in the claim, not the camera.

What do we do with the video once it exists?

That is the part most firms miss. Each piece is cut for its destination — site, social feeds, paid ads, YouTube — because a single edit posted everywhere underperforms in all of them.
