PPC for Lawyers

Buyer-intent keywords only, so spend turns into consultations.

The problem this solves

The problem this solves

Pay-per-click is the fifth spoke, and the one where money disappears fastest when it is run badly. The mechanics are simple enough that plenty of agencies will happily take the budget; the difference between a campaign that produces cases and one that produces a report is almost entirely in what you choose to bid on.

The discipline is buyer intent. Someone typing “car accident attorney near me” has a case and is ready to call. Someone typing “what to do after a car accident” is reading. Both are relevant to your practice. Only one of them is worth a hundred dollars a click, and the campaigns we take over from other agencies are usually paying for both.

Paid traffic exposes everything downstream. A slow site, a weak landing page, or an intake process that takes four hours to return a call will all be visible in the first month — which is uncomfortable, and considerably cheaper than finding out in the twelfth.

What's included

Everything in the program

  • Audit of what you are running

Your current campaigns analyzed before anything is changed — where the spend goes, what it returns, and what is being wasted on searches that were never going to call.

  • Audience and keyword research

Your ideal client defined, then the keywords and phrases they actually use. Buyer intent only: "personal injury lawyer near me" is a case, "how much do lawyers make" is not.

  • Custom campaign build

Structured around your practice areas and geography, not a template applied to your account with the city name swapped.

  • Professional ad creative

Ads written to engage the client you want, within the compliance constraints legal advertising actually operates under.

  • Optimized landing pages

Purpose-built pages for the campaign. Sending paid traffic to a general practice-area page is the fastest way to pay for clicks that bounce.

  • Retargeting and remarketing

Reaching the people who visited and did not convert. They have already shown intent, which is why retargeting consistently returns more than cold traffic.

  • Ongoing optimization and ROI tracking

Visitors and conversions monitored continuously, with the campaign adjusted against return rather than against clicks.

  • Consulting for your in-house team

If you have someone internal, we will train them rather than keep the account a black box.

How it works

What the first ninety days look like

  1. 01

    Analyze and define

Current strategy audited, ideal audience defined, and the case types you actually want agreed before a keyword is bought.

  2. 02

    Research and build

Keyword research, campaign structure, ad creative, and the landing pages the traffic will land on — built together, not bolted on afterwards.

  3. 03

    Launch and track

Live with conversion tracking wired up from day one, so the first week produces data rather than guesses.

  4. 04

    Optimize against return

Continuous adjustment on what converts, plus retargeting for the people who came close. Reported as cost per case, not cost per click.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers

How is PPC different from SEO?

PPC buys position immediately and stops the day you stop paying. SEO earns position slowly and keeps it. Most firms need both — paid search covers you while organic builds, and it lets you own a competitive term you have no realistic chance of ranking for organically this year.

Legal keywords are expensive. Is it worth it?

It depends entirely on your case value and your intake. Personal injury clicks can run into three figures, which is fine if the case is worth six. The failure mode is not the click price — it is buying broad keywords with no buyer intent, and intake that lets the leads go cold.

What is retargeting and why does it matter?

It follows people who visited your site and left without contacting you, showing them your ads as they browse elsewhere. Those people have already expressed interest, so the return is consistently better than cold traffic. Most firms never set it up.

Google Ads or Local Services Ads?

They do different jobs. Local Services Ads sit above everything, are pay-per-lead, and require Google screening. Google Ads give you far more control over targeting and messaging. Which mix is right depends on your practice areas and your market, and it is one of the first things we work out.

Can I keep my account if we part ways?

Yes. Campaigns are built in your account, and the history stays with you. An agency that runs your ads inside its own account is holding your data as leverage.
